Singaporean Rice

Singaporean Rice 0

Duration: 60 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. chili garlic sauce
  • 6 tbsps. ketchup
  • 2 tbsps. oil
  • 1 green onion leaves (chopped)
  • ¾ cup carrot (chopped)
  • ¾ cup capsicum (chopped)
  • ¾ cup cabbage (chopped)
  • ¾ cup green onion (chopped)
  • Salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper meshed
  • 200 grams spaghetti (boiled)
  • ½ cup oil
  • 6 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • ¾ cup onion (chopped)
  • ½ kg chicken (boneless, cubed)
  • 1 tsp. red chili powder
  • 1 tsp. chicken powder
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp. hot sauce
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 cups rice (boiled)

 

Directions

  1. For the sauce; add mayonnaise, 1 tbsp. chili garlic sauce, vinegar, and 4 tbsps. tomato ketchup. Mix well. Set the sauce aside.
  2. Add oil in a pan on medium low flame with green onion leaves, carrot, capsicum, cabbage, and green onion. Mix everything well. Add in salt and black pepper. Mix everything together nicely.
  3. Now add boiled spaghetti in the pan. Mix well and set aside.
  4. In a separate pan, add oil, garlic and onion. Saute for a few minutes or until light golden brown.
  5. Add chicken cubes, salt, red chili powder, chicken powder, and lemon juice. Mix well. Cook for a minute then add cumin powder hot sauce, black pepper, and 2 tbsps. ketchup. Mix and cover with the lid for a few minutes. Now add in 2 tbsps. chili garlic sauce. Mix well.
  6. Take pre- boiled rice and layer with spaghetti. Spread chicken cubes on top.
  7. Lastly, spread mayo sauce on top and serve.

RedBean Kabab

RedBean Kabab 0

Duration: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 300 grams red kidney beans
  • ¼ cup mint leaves
  • ¼ cup fresh coriander
  • 3 to 4 green chili
  • ½ cup fried onion
  • 4 tbsps. gram flour
  • 1 tsp. garam masala
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. cumin seeds powder
  • 1 tsp. red chili powder
  • ½ tsp. ginger paste
  • ½ tsp. garlic paste
  • Oil

 

Directions

  1. Pour water in a bowl and add red kidney beans. Let them boil over medium flame. Drain the water and set aside.
  2. In a grinder, add mint leaves, coriander, green chili and fried onion. Grind all the ingredients a little. Now add kidney beans, gram flour, salt, garam masala, lemon juice, cumin seeds powder, red chili powder, ginger paste and garlic paste. Grind well
  3. Shape them into small flat kebabs.
  4. Pour oil in a pan and fry kebabs from both sides.

White Sauce Penne Pasta

White Sauce Penne Pasta 0

Duration: 60 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsps. butter
  • 2 tbsps. flour
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 1/3 cup onion (sliced)
  • Salt
  • ½ tsp. red pepper
  • 1 bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 carrot (diced)
  • 50 gm corn
  • 200 grams penne pasta (boiled)
  • 50-75 grams processed cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. oregano

 

Directions

  1. In a pan, melt butter and add flour to it. Cook on medium low flame until the color changes. Add milk and keep stirring until thick saucy consistency is obtained. Keep the white sauce aside.
  2. Take another pan with some oil. Add in garlic and sauté for a minute. Add in onion and salt. Cook for a few minutes. Now add red pepper and cook until onion changes its color slightly.
  3. Add bell pepper and carrots. Mix well. Cook until the veggies are slightly soft. Add in corn. Mix again.
  4. Pour white sauce in the pan. Mix everything together.
  5. Add pre-boiled penne pasta to the pan. Sprinkle processed cheese on top.
  6. Sprinkle black pepper and oregano. Mix well.
  7. Serve and enjoy white sauce penne pasta.

Mexican Rice

Mexican Rice 0

Duration: 60 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 tbsps. oil
  • 1 large sized capsicum (chopped)
  • 1 cup frozen corns
  • ¾ cup green peas
  • 1 ½ cups kidney beans (boiled)
  • 1 tbsp. chili flakes
  • Salt
  • 1 ½ tsp. cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. crushed black pepper
  • 2 cups vegetable stock
  • 1 ½ cups tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 6-7 sprigs of fresh coriander (chopped)

Directions

  1. In a pan, heat some oil. Add in rice and let it cook.
  2. Add in capsicum, corn, green peas and kidney beans. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Now add chili flakes, salt, cumin powder, oregano and crushed black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Add in vegetable stock, tomato puree, lemon juice and coriander. Mix and let it cook. Cover the pan with lid and cook until the water dries up.
