Chinese Fried Rice

Duration: 40 minutes


  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 tbsps. oil
  • 2 eggs ( beaten)
  • 2/3 cups cabbage (chopped)
  • 2/3 cups carrot (chopped)
  • ½ tsp. pepper powder
  • 1 tsp. chicken powder
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • ¾ cup green onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • Salt


  1. Pour some water in a pan. Add in rice and salt. Stir and let it boil. Rinse water after boiling.
  2. In a separate pan, add in oil and eggs. Scramble the eggs in the pan.
  3. Now add cabbage and carrot in the pan. Mix well. Add in pre-boiled rice. Mix everything together.
  4. Sprinkle chicken powder, sugar, salt and green onion. Mix everything together. Add sesame oil to the rice and mix again. Cover the lid and let it cook on slow flame.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
